"There's a lot of heartbreak associated with this departure. We did not get everyone out that we wanted to get out," Gen. McKenzie says, adding that diplomatic efforts will now take over.

And the truth is, of course anyone with a soul agrees with this sentiment. Let’s work with our allies to not stop until everyone who wants out, gets out.✌️

I hope our media is judicious in their reporting about these efforts and doesn’t become overtly emotionally involved. That helps no one

Seriously? Everyone that we 'wanted to get out'? That implies there are some that we wanted to forsake. How about saying;"We didn't get ABSOLUTELY everyone out, so I'm resigning my command in abject failure". If he showed this level of failure at West Point, he'd have failed out.

“There’s a lot to be proud of in this departure. It marks the end of America’s longest & most expensive war. It also marks the end of America’s biggest & most complex airlift operation, with over 120,000 people flown out. Far more than pundits said was possible.” There. Fixed it.

This is why we have allies and unite in common force to sustain efforts for security. The Biden Admin has joined now with 97 other nations to continue humanitarian work in Afghanistan.

An amazing evacuation of 120,000 plus . Thanks to President Biden and our military for completing the mission under enormous dangerous and delicate situations and in spite of all the journalists and politician naysayers .

It was never realist to think we could evacuate all who have aided our forces over 20 years. Why have visas been held up all through the years?
