Government to solve every problem. We are pragmatic and expect the same from our politicians. Less than 1 month into his term, Rep Levin has demonstrated that he will be a reliable vote to advance @SpeakerPelosi liberal agenda, including the #GreenNewDeal

Here are aspects of the #GreenNewDeal 10 year goals that Mr Levin is so excited about:
1. 100% “clean” energy - New Energy Grid
2. Complete overhaul of current transportation systems to public transportation and high speed rail
And while 1 and 2 fight climate

Climate change.
3. Guaranteeing a job with a family-sustaining wage, adequate family and medical leave, paid vacations, and retirement security” and “high-quality health care” for all Americans.

So, despite Mr Levin’s optimism, the #GreenNewDeal will be devastating to our country. #MI09, which is highly dependent on manufacturing jobs, would lose a significant % of its jobs, while at the same time, having to pay higher taxes to fund the intended utopia

Mr Levin and his #socialist allies in the US House intend to use the climate change “crisis” to fabricate a great American society based not on our Democratic principles, but on a strategy given to use by the elite political class who knows best what we need.

Thanks FD! Good people indeed. It seems like, Mr Levin is more interested in assimilating into liberal DC, rather than represent the interests of Reagan Democrats. We may have crossed paths in the 80’s!
Once again good thread Jeff. Don't worry about their 10 year goals. One is to eliminate fossil fuels. How would they fly around in private jets to lecture us about how we're ruining the climate?
