    This op-ed w/, a year old, has held up well: What would routine testing of children accomplish? A child w/o symptoms and +ve test would be sent home and deprived of an education. Enough asymptomatic cases would lead to school closures.

    If you’re wondering why some of us have aggressively opposed lockdown politics since March of 2020, this is why. The logical end to this is total government control of every aspect of your life. There’s a name for that.

    Australia is building quarantine camps. Such a thing should never be acceptable in a liberal and free society.

    Early on, public health officials placed covid testing centers preferentially in high-income / low minority population neighborhoods. The revealed id of public health: 1) Focused protection of the laptop class 2) Trickle-down epidemiology.

    How about passports only for those with prior COVID disease, while excluding the vaccinated, as they have weaker immunity? NO, that is almost as stupid as vaccine passports.

    In Israel, vaccinated individuals had 27 times higher risk of symptomatic COVID infection compared to those with natural immunity from prior COVID disease [95%CI:13-57, adjusted for time of vaccine/disease]. No COVID deaths in either group.
