The Confederate flag should never be worn, especially by an elected official. Don't split hairs on this w/ excuses about flags vs. bandanas. It dishonors our fellow Michiganders. It dishonors the battle flags in our rotunda. It dishonors our state.
He's probably suing the media for using an unflattering image of himself which was obtained while he was unaware he was being filmed and used to misrepresent his character, and, because of caveats, has to appease the media to collect as an actor. That's the more shocking story.
I saw the interview, and it was just bizarre. In one interview he both claims that it wasn't a Confederate flag, but also that he knew it was going to be controversial, and then seems to at least imply he knows it's a Confederate flag. Like, what?

Imagine making a bold political statement and then publicly denying it. Cowards. You know he’s posting photos to his closed Facebook group about owning the libs, yet lacks the political courage to let his racist freak flag fly.

How can that son of a bitch walk by the 1st Sharpshooter Statue and wear that emblem? And then walk in front of the Austin Blair statue. He should be more aware of his state’s history.
