    Many right-leaning people are mocking this deleted tweet from Vox. But Vox isn’t wrong. Africa’s population growth is setting back global progress objectives, including environmental ones. It’s a real issue. Insensitive messaging perhaps, but they shouldn’t have deleted it.

    Some personal news: Recently, I learned the non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma I battled in 2009 has returned. I’ve begun treatment & my doctors are optimistic that I will see a good result. Appreciate the support I’ve received & count on it as I fight this challenge.

    Something deeply selfish and narcissistic about liberal white women’s false appropriation of grievances. A couple weeks ago it was Christine Ford on the topic of sexual assault (a very legit issue). Now it is Elizabeth Warren on Native American issues. It undermines true victims.

    I understand why the NYT would publish this story given some of Kavanaugh’s statements, but Emily should have never been assigned to it or have her byline on it. Not a good look.

    Warren claimed her parents had to secretly marry because her father's racist parents disapproved of him dating an obvious Indian woman, who we now know was maybe 0.195% Cherokee.

    Yes, please send me your tweets about how this doesn’t change anything because she’s only got a little tiny bit of Native American ancestry. You’re making exactly the point you think you’re making.
