It must be maddening to be making big games at a time when players loudly complain about live service games but also complain when a game they bought doesn't get a ton of free, frequent updates.

Anyway, in my first match in WWE 2K23 MJF beat Kenny Omega for the AEW title on WCW Monday Nitro. So at least the user creations are still fun in some ways. I'll probably stream some of it on Thursday, where you will hear me say things like "all these CM Punks are too... wide?"

I wonder if it's a situation where it just didn't get a lot of use or if someone got spooked by all the ridiculous stuff people were writing for the superstars to say. Or maybe they saw Ghost Problems and said "kill the feature, it'll never get any better than this."

It's still so sad that the WWE games don't have the custom story creator they used to have 10 years ago. I just want to make 40-minute epics where every person on the roster is hit by a car while someone on commentary shouts OH! COLLUSION!

HP's scrummy printer ink DRM stuff has gotten so bad that I can't even scan a piece of paper to PDF without it complaining about ink. I yanked the cartridges out and now it complains about a lack of ink!

Going to guess that all this "Counter-Strike 2" talk is more about finally moving it over to Source 2 than it is about an entirely new game, but there's something fun and weird about the idea of calling a game "Counter-Strike 2" after all these years.

I've heard nothing but complaints about how Wo Long runs on PC, but I didn't have too much trouble with it stuttering or anything, though I overspent on hardware so I'm probably just able to brute force my way through the worst of it. Your Mileage May Vary, as they say.
