What a legend. I'm a foster carer in Aus. It's hard work and there is less and less support. Thanks government! Bet it's worse in the US though.

I was a foster kid, and it seems cliche to say it, I was homeless for a while. All these years later I'm happily married, kid getting ready to go to college, and a published author. Thanks for trying to help the kids that don't have my dumb luck Jim

My heart breaks for foster kids who are aging out without finding a family. Special needs kids are an extra challenge..Everyone should have a home.... if I had a bigger house, I would still foster.

My mom took in 60 foster girls over a 10 year period, while raising her own 7 children, and she loved every minute of it. The world needs more people like this!
