Because -- stop me if you've heard me say this a trillion times -- the RW has a giant propaganda machine that carries their messages directly to the ears (& id) of their voters. Dems lob messages out into the MSM & hope for the best.

It's very weird how America's elite journalists/pundits/etc. wring their hands over "post-truth politics" & the problem of misinformation, but then turn around & treat the things voters do as a direct response to Dem "messaging." Voters rarely HEAR Dem messaging.

By & large, Trump's base has no idea what Dems actually say or do. They are responding to a ludicrous caricature they see on RW media (& RW social media). They are responding to lies & conspiracy theories. Dems changing how they talk *won't change any of that*.

I don’t know who needs to hear this but an odd, theatrical mix of pyramid scheme marketing + snake handling in a random hotel ballroom, without any actual evidence of voter fraud, isn’t evidence of voter fraud.

Glad to hear Republican poll watchers were given brisk walks, occasional treats & frequent belly rubs.

Michael Flynn was a paid foreign asset of the Turkish government after he was appointed National Security Advisor. This would be akin to Jake Sullivan currently being on the take from the Iranians. It is a scandal without modern precedent. Trump and the GOP own it.

In Trump’s world, the innocent are persecuted and the guilty are pardoned. A fitting coda to a rotten presidency.

Look, the truth is that Trump is perfectly within his authority to pardon Flynn if he wants. That's the job. And then Flynn can stand proudly with the war criminal and the racist sheriff and the other scum that Trump gave the family-and-friends discount to.

People claim Ford pardoning Nixon was for the good of the country. I disagreed then & now. Not prosecuting Nixon taught a lesson to Roy Cohn-Roger Stone-Paul Manafort-Karl Rove and Donald Trump that they could do whatever they wanted without consequences, That needs to end now.

Recall: Pompeo did a questionable $8 billion arms deal w/the Saudis. When State Dept IG started investigating, Pompeo fired him. When Congress issued subpoenas to investigate, Pompeo ordered people not to comply. We The People look forward to what Tony Blinken finds at State.

Because finally let have access. Her father was wrong: Trump told business leaders stocks will jump higher if he is re-elected, but “if I don’t win you’re going to see a crash like you’ve never seen before.”

Republicans looked the other way while the Trump administration tried to silence voters, spread lies, and undermine the foundation of our democracy. The transition may be finally underway, but we can never forget which side they chose in this moment of crisis.

WSJ: Trump is not only pulling us out of the Open Skies treaty, allowing us to monitor Russian military moves, but is even trying to destroy the planes the U.S. uses for that mission. If you don't see that he's been working for Putin the whole time, you don't have a brain.
