Trump defends his “very fine people” comments on Charlottesville: “People were there protesting the taking down of the monument of Robert E. Lee. Everybody knows that.” Fact check: There were many neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

It’s called libel, when you knowingly post lies about someone to damage them. What you’re saying has been long since debunked and you know it. And you have the nerve to get upset when people rightfully call you “fake news...”

You gullible sheep. It was taken entirely out of context, but you’re too lazy to to research anything that already says what you want. Interesting no one quotes the direct sentence before it....but you keep believing whatever the media shoves down your throat.pic.twitter.com/J8eltecdXj

Because not everyone there that day was a neo-nazi. There were tons of everyday people that just didn’t want to see a historic statue torn down. Aren’t you the side that’s always preaching about not lumping a group of people as bad because of a few? Yea well, practice it!

67% of whites 65% of Latino 44% of blacks Wanted the statue to remain. The protest was supposed to be those groups peacefully gathering. They did not know that the white supremacist group was flying in! They left after they saw what was happening. When dark came, they marched.

By that time, the smart people had already left, it was not supposed to even be an all day event. There were black people that talked about how they were protesting before they saw the racist group taking over. Trump said he was not talking about the Nazis!pic.twitter.com/aoMKmwDU8G

I do not care about that statue. I am perfectly fine with it being taken down. I actually would prefer it. But that does not mean that the ones who were originally there were racist. Would you like me to link you of other protests taking a turn from what it was meant to be?

He literally said the Nazis should be condemned TOTALLY! So if your going to take one sentence out of that as your talking point, then take the others ones as well, or else you are a political hack pandering for rhetoric that proves what you want, regardless if it’s true or false

This is a false narrative. Don’t feed in to it. All Americans have the right to believe as they will, so long as they commit no crime as a result. A person can be a neo-nazi and never do anything to others. While others can believe hate neo-nazis and be quite violent. Who is bad?

You’re confusing personal beliefs, committed actions, and human value. Based on what you’ve just said, I can assume a few things: You believe some people are better than others. You believe that YOUR belief defines the worth of ANOTHER person.

I don’t believe in racism. I find it abhorrent. But I find MORE abhorrent the desire to silence the beliefs of others. War lies in that direction. Horrible horrible things have been done by people trying to control and silence others based on subjective merit, whatever the reason

The Nazis were such. But they were just one type. Christians, Muslims, Whites, Blacks, Asians, Latinos, Buddhists... we have all done terrible things because of prejudice. Because of self-righteous pride. Fix your narrative. Love one another. Don’t censor thoughts: Discuss them
