If I have a refurbished D200 and have, ahem, a reason to get a new new DSLR, what is today’s equivalent? Should be available widely refurbished, accept my Nikon lenses. Anyone saying ‘Canon’ will be declared enemy of the public and deported to Siberia.

How much can you afford? The D7100 and D7200 are great, cheap, and easy to find refurbished. Sony mirrorless cameras can also accept your lenses, but the cheap models are not that great.

Or if you want to go full frame, you can now find really cheap second hand D800 cameras due to the 810 and 850 having replaced it, even though the 800 is just as good for photos.

If you are looking for a second hand Nikon camera, the D800 is definitely the best bargain you can get right now. I still use it a lot.
