Websites can now use Javascript to send DNS queries, yay! But besides “yay!”, can you give me some actual use cases for that?

tbh I don't see any useful legit use cases but a lot of abuse, eg. it could increase the impact of an XSS: data exfiltration, distributed DNS scan, local DNS scan and so on
