Why are all hotel reservation platforms terrible? They all feel tacky and shady, when they work at all. I wanted to book an hotel in London, but after giving my CC details to creepy websites that couldn’t even complete the transaction (so I hope), I broke down and used AirBNB.
Well… https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.booking.com … doesn’t inspire confidence (even though other platforms get similar reviews).

I’m genuinely surprised. Although I don’t know trustpilot, so I’d naturally wonder if people would spend time posting a positive review there if they had one to make. Do the reviews measure the reviewed service or the reviewing site?

Never had any issue with them. I'm using them for most of my trips now.
