Should be fine! The API has always been backward compatible since version 1.0.0.

Ah I see! thanks! Do I just have to do a fresh pod install to upgrade to the new core libSodium?

So, I'm on 1.0.17, and want to move to 1.0.18...

Looking at the source, I think I have to manually run dist-build/ios.sh, it order to generate a new lib-a, otherwise I guess just wait for Swift-Sodium to have a new release?

Stick to 1.0.17. There’s nothing interesting in 1.0.18.

Ok Cool, I liked the new functions to map a hash to an edwards25519 point or get a random point. Also the AVX speedup is cool :) I'm gonna spend some time contributing to the libsodium ecosystem, you think docs on SwiftSodium or a Swift wrapper for LibHydrogen would be better?

That function has been deprecated and removed from the documentation since the specification keeps changing. Documentation (especially examples), definitely.
