What is the shortest lived publicly trusted server TLS certificate use case you are aware of? At Google Cloud, we do 2-day certificates for Cloud Shell use cases: https://censys.io/certificates?q=.cloudshell.dev … do you know of any "at scale use" shorter than that?

my understanding from talking to various teams over the years is that 24 hours is not sufficient -- I'm sure
@__apf__ is more up to date on just how terrible time keeping is. -
Would love to see what the CDF looks like. But if a clock is more than 24 hours off, it’s likely to be years off, i.e. unusable for cert validation no matter what.
