Thanks for reaching it! The proposal based specificiation process is causing such the issue. JavaScript used to mitigate that with bundlers/transpilers. Btw, this should be possible for some WebAssembly features too;

That’s badly needed and I was planning writing something similar. But “only works on Chrome” is really the first thing one would have originally hoped WebAssembly would solve.

I don't think WebAssembly would fix it (or rather could avoid it). However, I'm happy to help adding more features or extending the API if you guys need it.
