Pure-FTPd 1.0.48 released. TLS 1.3, SNI, external cert handlers, bug fixes, improved compatibility, and more. https://www.pureftpd.org/ - Even though I don’t use it any longer, I’ve now been maintaining that code for 18 years.
Also, usernames don’t have to be globally unique any more. The SNI name is available to authentication handlers. Even the document root can be automatically derived from the domain now.

That's amazing, and will allow for cleaner setups, hopefully. I can totally see how it would benefit older projects of mine. Unfortunately compatibility with non-TLS aware clients means I'd still have to handle a messy setup ... hmm. Time to build caniuse\.com for FTP clients :-)
