Based on my experiments over the past month, WebAssembly looks like a total trash fire right now. - Painful JavaScript interop - Horrible crash dump mechanisms - No DOM manipulation - No threading (at least in the spec) - Convoluted loading mechanism - No debugging - 32 bit

All of these are true. And a Heartbleed-prone memory model. But the foundations are solid, the roadmap is very promising, and the tooling will improve. Give it some time.
