    Don’t know how the convo started, don’t care: anyone doing any work should be paid for that work in legal tender — not exposure, not experience, not references. If it wouldn’t be accepted as payment by the light company, it isn’t compensation — it’s exploitation.

    I have a company for women who constantly tell me they’ll work for free. I thank them & decline. If it’s for an internship or simply a graphic - they get paid for their time. I can’t teach a young woman about knowing her worth - if I don’t SHOW her her worth. Pay your interns.
