This reminds me of the guy who told my friend she had an all-time high score on the spreadsheet he used to rank women so he wanted to date her. He'd given her all these points for being a Christian & she wasn't at all! She was like its ok you can just say you're attracted to me

OK friends. ANY letter might be fake and most are probably fake in some way. And I'm not skipping this because I already chose it. So let me rephrase: Treating it as real, what advice would you give to this seemingly gross person who might want to do one right thing?

Notice how Black women and other multiply marginalized Black scholars were targeted and erased from this curriculum. "The expunged writers and scholars include Kimberlé W. Crenshaw... Gone, too, is bell hooks, the writer who shaped discussions about race, feminism and class."

this excellent. worth noting was a zero percent chance of getting something like this published as straight “news” in 2014 or 15. Instead It would have been a piece full of police “experts” explaining how *actually what the cops did was reasonable”

Marie Kondo told y’all to chill out and organize and some of you took it to a cultish level. That lady was all vibes, if you feel betrayed by her admitting to being messy now because of her kids you were the ones who did too much. You didn’t need storage bins. You needed therapy.

So a lot of people were surprised by Brian's alleged drug use! I looked it up & around this time 14% of 6th graders thought their friends used marijuana but only 4% said they personally did. So maybe people lied on the survey or maybe I made unfair claims against him

If you’re going to send a ridiculous request for a thing that’s not even done, make sure to include as many questions and demands as possible!

The idea that cops who mean well simply get scared and kill Black people by mistake in split second decisions fueled by media stereotypes living in the back of their brains was really something I bought into! And I thought it was very hard hitting to point it out! 😐

I’m sure unconscious bias is very real but at this point I think “bloodthirsty people of all races are inclined to join a gang where racism explains why they typically get away with killling Black people” is probably a better framing

These police murders remind about my husband saying guys in boot camp admitted they joined the military to kill people without going to prison. This ex cop said the same thing. They murder people & take their chances in court. medium.com/@OfcrACab/conf

I keep seeing the news report the one line about peaceful protests instead of all the words the family said about Justice for their son. Here are the family’s demands. Here are community demands. Spread these. There’s much work to do. #TyreNichols
