Earth to @BrentWoodcox. NC has been the in the top five since before McCrory’s regime. Teacher pay was only increased after a mass exodus was imminent. You can’t go with unemployment figures b/c McCrory changed how it was figured. Remember that?

Also, don’t let this little plateau of prosperity fool you. Because of McCrory’s gutting of unemployment, the next recession will hit NC hard. Brett, McCrory, & other tea bag era citizens have precariously perched NC on the edg when a downturn occurs.

What on earth are you talking about? When the last recession hit, NC had $0 in its Rainy Day Fund. The state now has $1.7 billion in there. UI Trust Fund has gone from a $2.8 billion deficit to a $2.1 billion surplus.
