Earth to @JeffJacksonNC. Please return to reality. NC was just named the top state for doing business by @Forbes, unemployment recently hit a 17-year low and teacher pay has increased every year for the last 4 years. #NCPOLhttps://twitter.com/JeffJacksonNC/status/937747880852492288 …

Earth to
@BrentWoodcox. NC has been the in the top five since before McCrory’s regime. Teacher pay was only increased after a mass exodus was imminent. You can’t go with unemployment figures b/c McCrory changed how it was figured. Remember that?1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 0 polubionych -

Also, don’t let this little plateau of prosperity fool you. Because of McCrory’s gutting of unemployment, the next recession will hit NC hard. Brett, McCrory, & other tea bag era citizens have precariously perched NC on the edg when a downturn occurs.

What on earth are you talking about? When the last recession hit, NC had $0 in its Rainy Day Fund. The state now has $1.7 billion in there. UI Trust Fund has gone from a $2.8 billion deficit to a $2.1 billion surplus.

Bingo! Rainy Day fund=$1.84B to be exact, up from nominal $0.15B under Dems. By far, largest balance ever.pic.twitter.com/34YQ8ZbKOL

And Republican leadership achieved the 8% target the Democrats set but never reached. In fact, only time GA briefly crested 5% was when Republicans held the House in mid-90s.pic.twitter.com/vWn97ntKSI

Bingo! You and the rest of the GOP carnival barkers pass off statistics as a benchmark for effective government. Sen Dan: you & the rest of the half wits in the NCGA have neglected public service in favor of cooking the books.

Yes they are. Perhaps you should concern yourself with being an effective public servant rather than a pompous blowhard of a politician.
