Hey Dan, I dropped my absentee ballot in an unattended box...at the post office. How exactly are absentee ballot boxes different from post office boxes? How does one promote fraud and the other protect from it?
Signed log books for in-person delivery of absentee ballots at county boards of elections is how irregularities were discovered in 2018 #NC09. A few individuals were signing in 100’s. If you don’t want that fraud to be detected, you’ve had the same change of heart as Mark Elias.
I didn't have to sign a log book to drop my ballot in a mailbox though. How is it different from a drop box at the board of elections?
McRae Dowless’ efforts went far beyond this Dan. The board of election staff, some chief judges and even republicans board members were in the know. Also election results from early voting and absentee were tabulated and given to some candidates prior to Election Day.
