Grateful for these brave officers, but protection leaving a White House event should have been overwhelming. We’re already seeing predictable violent consequences of underfunding police. And it’s spreading.

4 years ago, I could visit my in-laws, I was enjoying my retirement traveling and going out to dinner as my budget allowed, I could hug my friends and go out shopping without worrying about getting sick, I did not worry about my kids jobs. I am voting Biden to get all that back.
