Important to note- the peak refers to the estimated maximum hospital demand. Just because Mecklenburg County's peak is projected to be June 27 doesn't mean the stay at home order will be in place until then. 3/

There are 3,223 ICU beds in NC according the NCDHHS - how is it Meck county only has 283 for the area it serves??

Less than 1 week earlier, using the same UPenn CHIME algorithm, @MeckCounty projected peak hospital beds almost twice as high.
