Dan, I’m lifelong GOP and you have to remember something. The Bush led GOP’s total failure on Katrina + horrific handling (including prevention of) the 2008 Great Recession/Housing Crisis, led to the Dems/media excoriating our party. It’s not great, but can’t have another loss.
Bad things happen when we fear loss more than desire win.

I agree, but that only works if you have a united group of men and women on the GOP side of Congress, all fighting for the same goal (unselfishly). I know you’re a good man among many, I just wish we had more like you.
