First of all, content design is *concept* design. We should be focused deeply on just 1-2 products at a time instead of working on ALL OF THEM at once. This helps us bond with teams and makes our impact more deeply felt and understood.
Secondly, content design is about "systems, not sentences." We should be focused on defining entities, their connections with each other, and how those connections provide value See a great example here:https://www.intercom.com/blog/applying-systems-thinking-in-product-design/ …
Then, to quote @jnd1er: "Design is concerned with how things work" ...and not with making them pretty.
If we accept that to be true, then I'd add a corollary:

Finally, content design & content strategy have always been a "Big Tent" community! We want new folks to join us. We think there's so much opportunity for you here. It's a great career field for journalists, creative writers, designers, marketers, and more!
