Immigration court is a client crying about how their daughter is cutting and threatening suicide if the family gets deported and the judge interrupting to ask how much they could get for their 2005 Carolla and whether that money could be used to just move to Cancun.

Abbott (mistakenly) reducing the Cleveland, TX family victims to “5 illegal immigrants” just highlights that it’s never been about people coming the “right way” or making sure people are “good” immigrants. They’re merely talking points to continue attacking communities of color

A little shocked honestly that almost 9,000 people in the Rio Grande Valley are still without power as of today, Tuesday morning since Friday night. AEP, who said in a press release that everyone would be restored by Monday night at the latest, has been working around the clock.

“the Court declines to reopen their removal proceedings based on exceptional circumstances—namely, their alleged kidnapping and lack of notice—or their eligibility for asylum” is such a crazy line in a decision Anyway, cases I repped on appeal are 3 for 3 at the circuit court 🤭

I came to Austin expecting to hear historic testimony frm Uvalde families in the state Capitol. Flew down from NYC last night. Here bf 9a. It’s been almost 12 HOURS. The families are STILL here. And they have still not been called. And yet. They wait. Patiently. W hope & tears.

I'm too shocked to know what to say. You can see people walk away and leave the migrants inside in a new video of the fire in Juarez last night that left 39 migrants dead. I'm not sure what it will take to help all understand the human rights abuses happening here on the border.
