    Cop convicted of planting crack on innocent couple. Given probation. Judge “swayed by how he lost his job, pension, & health.” In other words, the same consequences for people I represent jailed on bail *before conviction* that no judge ever cares about.

    Ridiculous to think manufacturing jobs due to Coronavirus will come back to the US. Plenty of other poor countries for multinationals to exploit to keep costs low. And American consumerism fuels this - we like to buy cheap disposable stuff

    This is sad. You can rape someone, launder or embezzle money bum& get house arrest. This troubled women is dying but yes let’s throw her in jail over $100. This is going to cost taxpayers far more

    Woman battling cancer who stole around $100 of food is sentenced to 10 months in prison. The judge also denied her request for home confinement, where she might have been able to get surgery that doctors say is the only way to prevent her death.
