It’s not that I think DeSantis wouldn’t sign it or that the Florida legislature isn’t filled with troglodytes, but that it’s so brazen. No pretense whatsoever.

A supermajority of the voters of Florida passed an amendment to the state constitution to re-enfranchise former felons, including hundreds of thousands of black people. The Republican legislature said, “Oh, we can’t have that” & passed a straight up Jim Crow law. It’s incredible.
