Weren’t we kind of famous for sending troops to Iraq without body armor? Not disputing that health workers need more resources, just kind of pointing out that our leadership has been failing everyone this century.

Napoleon's troops without winter gear, US Civil War troops without shoes, US soldiers in Vietnam without wet weather gear. Age-old issue the world over. Leadership always fails to take care of its frontline workers, be they troops, med personnel, teachers, or factory workers.
