It's gonna be a long day y'all. The House isn't expected to vote on its first of 2 articles of impeachment until at least 7:25pm. Pelosi will open and close the votes on both.
Just dropped back into the House to see how impeachment proceedings are plodding along. Rep. Peter DeFazio is currently shouting into a microphone, which we can already hear his voice from.
Rep. Justin Amash, who just switched from being a Republican to an independent, is now speaking in the House. "I rise today in support of these articles of impeachment."
"He is impeaching himself," Rep. Susan Davis (D-Calif.) says to some boos on the GOP side. She said something else about national security and that was it. She just sat back down, to some laughs.
And yet still better looking than most dems
That mace looks like it would leave a mark.
It’s so beautiful
