Cornyn is pissed at Booker. "Running for president is no excuse for violating the rules of the Senate," he says. "This is no different from the senator deciding to release classified information that is deemed."

Booker's move is precisely what progressive groups have been urging Senate Dems to do: release the Kavanaugh records that Grassley has restricted to committee members. No Senate rule saying they can't do it. https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/progressive-groups-senate-democrats-brett-kavanaugh_us_5b9084d8e4b0511db3dedad9 …

And once again Dems are changing the rules and will regret it in the future. This kind of stunt is what got us the nuclear option and we are paying for that now. JMHO

From what I've read there is no rule that allows the content to be deemed restricted in the way Grassley has attempted. I'm willing to admit I may be mistaken though.

Like Grassley isn’t breaking the rules? The entire GOP is going out of their way to ignore civility & break the rules for these confirmation hearings! Per
#LeaderInNameOnly McConnell, rules are only for him to use to push his corrupt agenda.#SupportBooker#StopKavanaugh -
I call bs and entirely disingenuous after the debacle of not allowing Pres Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland to be heard.
