    This is a disaster for public health experts’ future claims to be offering nonpolitical analysis. The construction that they analyze public health and others can weigh that against other concerns was better.         The risks to personal safety of minorities at the hands of police are every bit as real as Covid. Public safety experts are acknowledging these are people balancing risks, not risk vs "vague cause"

        No, it depends on if you are weighing one safety risk against another. You seem to think this is a "cause" and not a direct attempt to stop a risk to ppls lives.
