Mildred “Babe” Didrikson Zaharias, December 1934.
At 1932 Olympics she won gold medals in 80 metre hurdles & javelin. She won silver in the high jump.
Babe then took up golf. She was a founding member of the LPGA & won 10 ladies major championships. An incredible sportsperson.
