maybe this is because I've always been A Trans but I just go into a stall, do my thing, walk out, wash my hands and leave the only time I even bother to check if there's anyone in the other stalls is if I'm out of toilet paper

also, I've used every gender of bathroom and no alarms have ever gone off or anything so I'm pretty sure the bathroom can't tell what genitals you have

The bathroom used to be the social space for "cool kids"... thirty years ago. Some people seem to have never grown out of the junior high mentality. =(

It’s so weird thinking about like... it’s literally non of their business? They could’ve walked past tons of trans people without even knowing but apparently it’s such a sin for them to literally pee or whatever in a toilet?? why.. it’s makes no sense

I mean, in their minds, they can totally spot, smell and sense any trans person and that alone will apparently prevent them from doing their business in peace. Now, in reality, that's not true, but tell that to any conspiracy theorist (which I think terfism is), it's impossible.

when we're drunk we tell each other tearfully how much we like their eyeliner or whatever, but I don't see why anyone should be excluded from that. Maybe the world would be a better place if more people got told by a drunk girl that they've got a face like an angel...

Excellent question. Cis gal here. This is one of those "it happens all the time, it's been going on for decades, and it was all fine until someone told you to freak out about it" things. It's 100% a far-right political tactic. Unfortunately make fear=get votes. It works.
