I work in health cultural competency. Inclusive lang. has + impacts on trans patients w/ no - impact on cis patients.
So we, health advocates, push for it because it makes a direct difference in health outcomes for trans/nb populations.

Bc they're aren't "men's clinics" you'd never notice the a push for updated lang in the other direction, but there is.
