Today I saw this young homeless man asking for people to take a resume rather than asking for money. If anyone in the Silicon Valley could help him out, that would be amazing. Please RT so we can help David out!pic.twitter.com/ewoE3PKFx7

I didn’t expect this kind of overwhelming response. But what I really didn’t expect was people guilting me for trying to help someone in need, telling me I’m ignorant, full of myself, and only in this for self promotion. I wish people could see the good in others sometimes
Less than a month later, I am so happy to announce that DAVID GOT A JOB!!!!!! He officially accepted the perfect offer for him and he starts Monday! @DavidCasarez17 the world is so happy for you

You took some time out of your day and completely changed this mans life. I’m so glad you came across him and shared. I wish nothing but the best for you both
The gag is it barely took any time! A 15 second convo and grab of a resume, and a 15 second twitter post
lol did you take this picture just for me?
Thank you for taking the time to speak with him and post his story. I hope everyone follows your lead to be kind to strangers, you never know what someone else is going through

thank you kindly
Dam, you possibly changed that guys life!
I hope so
Hi :) I don’t know if it’s ok for you to share, but I was wondering where he came from to have all this experience with tech yet be homeless right now. Great for him to follow his dreams.
It’s all there in his resume! He came from Texas
Omg!!! You are amazing!!!!! Please give us an update on what company he choose! I hope it’s google!
