Perhaps he is either dumb or disloyal.

I keep seeing the question asked by conservative intelligentsia: "why does Trump love autocrats and tyrants, yet despises our traditional allies from liberal democracies?" He has answered this question over and over again, in word and deed. Perhaps you guys should listen to him.

Problem is, he's not very coherent. Even when he is trying to tell the truth (which doesn't seem to be the case very often) he contradicts himself every two sentences.

I’ll have more flexibility after the election. Oh wait! Trump didn’t say that. Yawn!!

He reminds me of how Reagan & Thatcher used to talk about Augusto Pinochet & Nelson Mandela.

I think it's twofold: 1/ He LOVES the idea that everyone fawns over dictactors, and the opposition is sparse. That's his narcissism. 2/ A mix of money (Russia / Saudi Arabia) and fear if he says bad things about Putin (for instance). He's bluster but no real strength. IE coward

In your related posting in The Corner at NRO, you wrote in terms of "we" in your last sentence. We? I am not pouting at the Danes. There is no "we." Please do not malign the rest of us Americans who make up that "we" with the boorish, petulant behavior of the so-called President.
