Wow that's the longest I've had to wait for a bus in Pittsburgh on a route that otherwise has buses every 5-10 minutes. 5 buses went by that were completely full, over the course of 30 minutes.

Interactive Typeahead allows selecting a file by typing a prefix. Nautilus dropped support at some point (making typing mean recursive search). I thus had a fork that reintroduced it for Debian Stretch's version of Nautilus. Just updated it for Buster!

When you finish a PhD in computer science, they take you to a special room and explain that you must never use recursion in real life. Its only purpose is to make programming hard for undergrads.

My writeup for RSA Chained from last weekend's DragonCTF Teaser, where we use the Coppersmith attack and Hensel's lemma to break 4 different RSA keys, including 2 multi-prime keys (p*q*r) and 1 key of the form p*q*q.

Just found out about Comby by and wow this is so damn cool! Allows you to do code transformations in a lang-indpdt way, using super easily-understandable syntax. Best of all, it even works on some of the DSLs I've designed with 0 configuration! :D

I know they won't take over the world but seriously the guarantees you get with a dependent type system, when used right, feel just magical!

After having programmed for over 2 years now in a language with dependent types, languages without them feel clunky.

We've all accidentally committed debug code even though we've marked it as "DO NOT COMMIT", right? Well, not anymore! Global git hooks are amazing!

I really want to binge watch the previous seasons *again*, and I wish I could do so right now! This show is just so damn good. October can't come fast enough! If you haven't seen any of the previous seasons, you are really missing out and I strongly recommend watching them!

I think these are the two most useful posts I have on my blog (i.e. I'm referencing them in chat a lot): FAQ: How to learn reverse-engineering? FAQ: How to find vulnerabilities?
