Paul McHugh Catholic extremist, anti abortion, contraception, HPV vax. Anti sex ed, women's rights, LGBTI people and pro conversion therapy. Thinks most LG teenagers grow out it and becomes straight adults. Defended and hid child sex abusing priests (by blaming gay men).

Defends male headship and despises feminism. Wants parents and schools not to accept or acknowledge gay and lesbian teenagers and force conversion therapy on them. Long retired from Hopkins which has opened a new gender centre. And you agree with him?
-
Oh and advocates spanking kids on their bottoms. Big fan of beating kids, even as young as 2.
-
If you've got something to say, say it. I really don't like tools tweeting regurgitated talking pts. ESPECIALLY the slanderous, hyperbole crap.

All from his and ACPeds statements... especially the beating of 2 year old kids (multiple ACPeds pages on that) and his defence of child sex abusing priests (his claim: 'no kids were abused, only teenagers by gay priests') forgetting all the girls and women abused.
-
And all the abuse and domestic violence in Protestant and evangelical churches. Oh and the average age of kids abused by the Catholic church was 10..... and heaps much younger. And LGBTI people are actually far less likely to be child sex abusers.
-
According the GRACE (Christian group fighting CSA) US convicted child sex abusers: 93% claimed to 'christian'. Most were white, most were married. In fact CSA is a crime mostly done by heterosexual men (and some women) nearly always by someone the victim knows (bit like rape).
-
LGBTI kids and teenagers are far more likely to victims of CSA, being targeted as they are seen to be more vulnerable.

Great read. I note that the study conducted in Sweden compares trans to the general population rather than groups within the trans community; I am unsure on the validity of this study as an argument used in the article? Interested to hear thoughts..
