Worth noting that three-year-old Major is the first-ever White House pet adopted from a shelter. The Bidens got Champ from a breeder in 2008 so he lived in the VP’s residence during the Obama presidency.

I own (or am owned by) out third GSD. I assure you that all three have/had better manners, are (were) more intelligent, capable and empathetic with a better grasp of right and wrong than either of those two former first family pets.
