I’m working on a leadership talk with a HR Staff Leader from one of the most revered organizations in America on how to treat your people equitably honorably in such a way that they never want to leave and everyone wants to join the team!

Young Leader, spend more time on developing your leaders than you do developing your brand. It’s possible to be esthetically appealing yet deficient in the very thing that helps retain, sustain, and expand that which you attract. Don’t get me wrong, brand/esthetic is important.

“I must decrease and he (JESUS) must increase.” • What does this mean and look like in a generation relentlessly working hard to acquire more followers and likes? • If we are willing to become less He can accomplish immeasurably more.

Unhealthy Expectations are really just premeditated resentment :-)

Wow! This US OPEN is insane!

Traveling from the west coast to the east coast during the day feels like a waste of your life. I think moving forward when I have to travel across country I’m going to start hammering red eyes.

THOUGHT OF THE DAY: Every great leader I’ve ever met always led their people with these 3 things: 1. CARE (they truly cared for their people) 2. CLARITY (they gave clarity in uncertain times) 3. COURAGE (they said what others wouldn’t say and did what others were afraid to do)

Cont’d- His nature should inform us as His kids in how we ought to treat people in process. Patiently walking with people in an abounding sense of love. Doesn’t mean we never have to make tough judgment calls and decisions in the process. Treat pple like we’ve been treated by God
