    maybe the confetti cannons were premature

    DC reports 41 coronavirus cases, which I believe is highest in 1 day since May. The new daily case rate is still quite low, but it's over 3 per 100k for first time since June 5. The city's measure of R is also in the red (the shut-things-down zone) for the first time since Nov.

    I have not had the pleasure of dunkin coffee since moving to DC. But a new combo dunkin/baskin robins is opening in Silver Spring, MD and the first 100 people in line tomorrow will get free coffee for a year.... It's an hour metro ride from my home and I'm still tempted.

    This month's cover story is translated into Spanish — a first in recent history (!) All the tenants in this story are Latinx, Spanish Speakers. We wanted them to be able to read their story, so asked Multicultural Community Service to translate it.
