Not that there was much doubt, but I’ve confirmed with Rockstar sources that this weekend’s massive Grand Theft Auto VI leak is indeed real. The footage is early and unfinished, of course. This is one of the biggest leaks in video game history and a nightmare for Rockstar Games

Surely, you just cant let hackers get your game source code. It opens the doors for a lot of cheats.

That's probably one of the least important questions right now.
When the Half-Life 2 beta leaked, Valve had to delay the game an entire year & they nearly had to cancel it outright. And that was a far smaller (and cheaper) project.
