it would have been nice to get information on relevant things like the scope of the game, size of the world etc. Good to hear you made solid use of your interview time *eye-roll*

If you want to read interviews that ask questions about how many polygons will be in an upcoming video game, there are plenty of other websites out there for you
-
Yeah, I feel like ALL of E3 has been front loaded with ALL THESE COOL DETAILS. What more do you need?
-
Not to mention this is the head of the company, possibly the person LEAST positioned to talk granular details about the game's scope and levels
-
With you on this one, its so stupid to see people getting time with Marcin and asking detailed questions about the games world/ specific game mechanics or the story branches...pretty sure thats why the devs are also present there too to answer those questions.
-
Plus I did that too - it's just not up yet! (I talked to the Cyberpunk quest director - that pod will probably go live next week)

Do video games have to always be politicised now? I forgot what it was like just to read about game, with regards to gameplay, graphics and you know, fun.
-
Imagine wanting a non political game set in an already established dystopian cyberpunk world lmao The genre itself is inherently political, you doof.
-
Hey man, nothing political about a city in which corporations have taken over the government
-
there's a difference between politics in games and games that happen to have some politics in them. if the games become preachy ("this is good, this is bad"), it's bad. if games ask the question and show both sides but don't give an answer it's the good way. (1/2)
-
Dystopian fiction is literally about telling you this is bad, so I guess this game isnt targeted at you then? Cyberpunk as a genre is about telling you that a world where corporations have control and are exploiting everyone is bad.
-
good point at this, forgot the genre we are talking about (however this could happen...)

Do you usually have this amount of whiny manbabies in the mentions of your articles or is it just because you asked CDPR some questions about a subject they have real poor history on?
-
I think the words "CDPR" and "transgender" in the same sentence are good at fishing out a lot of cretins
-
There’s also the fact that Cyberpunk as a genre is steeped in the nuance of transhumanism and gender/sexuality conceptually being a 3D space within itself. But hey, shiny neon lights and robots and guns and oh but muh politics in video games hand wringing.

What ever happened to asking the game devs about the game?
-
This is the co-CEO of the company. He's not the guy writing code or building models. I spoke to their quest director more specifically about the game. That podcast will be up later. Hope that helps.
-
Well at least you do delve into the game more, assuming that is in this podcast.
