        Tried it, but getting an "HandleDirtyMemoryFault failed 0x0 MOZ_RELEASE_ASSERT(Thread::CurrentIsMainThread())" alert in the tab being recorded.

        Mac OS 10.13.something (can't check atm). I was debugging http://bitbucket.org . Yeah I had heaps of other tabs open :).

        Looks great. Question though, would it be possible to implement a 'go back one step' in live debugging (without record / play)? I've always wondered why debug tools don't come with such a feature

        Hmm. The easiest thing would be to leave and re-enter a function. Everything else has so many edgecases

        Maybe in future, runtime engines would maintain a kind of version control internally for variables that can revert back changed values in such scenarios.

        Kinda like immutable state perhaps. With a recording it's possible to post process and do all kinds of cool queries.
