India is in the throes of Gleichschaltung, which was the Nazification of Germany's institutions. Once secular liberal institutions from the courts to the army are becoming transformed into Hindu nationalist ones. The world's largest democracy is no more.

I had been unaware. This is terrible! As a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner I am especially concerned for all the exiled Tibetans who live there and all the monasteries that were established there.
