Yes, it works with animated GIFs too. Those toasters are flying. These aren’t background images — they’re foreground images. Covers, like a book, an album, a portfolio. Pop a family pic, or a vacation photo. Change it up frequently. Email’s fun again.

The minimalist in me wants an out-of-the-box plain white background image. This will be equivalent to the hide button.

Thank you! Those "seen" emails were bothering me lately - I can't delete them, hide them. Covert Art concept is definitely a "Hey way"
I'm going to use a white blank image to sync with the rest of UI 😁
