Quick question regarding the free tier for BQ queries. If someone runs a query via Python using the Google Cloud module, when they get a return, is there a field that specifies how much data is left for their free tier or should the end-user keep track of that?

The response just shows how many bytes were scanned. You can track usage in the Cloud Console, though, and you can set up cost controls (cloud.google.com/bigquery/docs/) or set maximumBytesBilled on a per query basis.

Thank you Elliott! I'm going to create a blog posting sometime tomorrow or Thursday detailing how to use the new data within #bigquery and I want to make sure I have all the resources mapped out so I can link people to them in the blog.
