I find it both hilarious and sad that Shatner would block me for making a silly joke about not joining his fan club because he blew up the Enterprise. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I guess I can cross "get blocked by a celebrity on Twitter" from my bucket list.

You realize that there are probably psychos out there that genuinely cannot distinguish between Shatner and Kirk right? I bet he had a few run in with those and decided not to take the risk.

Yeah, twitter isn't exactly the most ideal communication platform so misunderstandings happen and it's best to laugh at them. The alternative is sobbing at the horrendous state of linguistic communications that we call language.
