I made some improvements to the bot script but it still consumes too much memory when processing a lot of data. Luckily I has 256 GB.

Are you able to work around the string query size limitation for ids?

Yeah I just batch them into lots of 500. Worked on a thread of 40k comments (though the resulting viz is rubbish so far)

Oh I have a question about comment scores. Are these backfilled at a later date. In newer threads (q month old) they're all score=1.

They need to be updated actually. It's still a manual part of the workflow. I can start that shortly.
